Dr. Kim Williamson

Dr. Kim Williamson grew up in Sugar Land, Texas.  She received both her Bachelor's and DVM degree from Texas A&M.  A Kerrville resident since 2005, she founded Kerr County Veterinary Hospital in 2007.  Dr. Williamson is very compassionate about all animals, but her professional interests center on dogs and cats with a particular focus on internal medicine.  Her household is run by Clancy, an Australian Shepherd and Garriiee, a DSH cat.  Mo, of course, lives and works at the office.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, running, ballet, yoga, and spending time with her husband.



Melissa grew up in Lippstadt, Germany. She came to Texas as an exchange student and received her B.A. in English from Schreiner University (where she now teaches part-time) and then her M.A. and PhD in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Melissa is our receptionist and passionate about client communication. She grew up around animals and currently has 3 dogs, Shiloh (a Chihuahua mix), Ricochet (a Blue Heeler), and Andee (a Boder Collie mix). She also has countless horses, two llamas, a goat, a donkey, a parrot, and poultry. Melissa has worked around animals most of her life and shares her love for animals with her husband and son.



Mikala grew up in Kerrville, Tx and is a 2015 Tivy High School graduate. She showed pigs for 12 years. She is our vet tech, head nurse, and cat whisperer. Mikala and her husband love all animals. In addition to their three dogs Mixy, Butch, and Cannon, they also have Rock the umbrella cockatoo, Socks the ferret, four cats, and several reptiles. Mikala enjoys fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and spending time outside. One of her favorite activities is taking her dogs to the beach.
